Weekend of racing

VOS - Cycles Gladiator did some traveling this weekend, we attended all the races through out NorCal.

Saturday 3-21-09

Let's start it off with the Orosi RR, Jon for M45 and Scott for the M55 this race tends to draw a small field but typical pure climbers go to test there legs.

Others went up to Sac for the weekend of crit and rr, first up was Landpark we started off with our Jr's

Then came our geezers M45/M55 and Steve G first race back in awhile so testing the legs and working together was in order. A little sprinkles but all was safe.

The M30 was up next and for some of us it was the first time to race together with some of new teammates and let me say how well these guys covered all moves in the race.

Sunday 3-22-09

More racing and traveling, ( Jon O won the driving record for the weekend Orosi and Barani )

This race tends to be very winding so being attentive and not to get gaped or crashed is one of the main objectives.

The M55 split the field of 25 riders

In the M45 Rick the mind over matter wind man went with another rider solo a couple miles into the race and duked it out on the line for the win.

In the M30 Jan and Norm had 6 laps, Jan was taken out by someone rear skewer in his wheel but no crash ( good save ) and Norm made the split due to the wind and finished in the front pack.

Down at the Hanford / $$$ crit the M35 were up first with Michael, Aaron and Bill going at it but came up short at the line but had a blast working the field.

In the E3 race Bill and Aaron played with a impressive field

With all the racing we did we came home all safe and sound.
